XIM Apex Android App BT connectivity Issue

Iím not sure if I missed this somewhere on the forum but I have mentioned this in other posts but I figured dedicate one specifically for this issue.

Essentially it seems like I have to try and connect multiple times before my Android S7 actually connects to the Apex. Is this a known issue?

I have the latest beta firmware and manager. I see that on the notes IOS was improved upon. Any updates regarding improving the Android experience?

I haven't heard of issues with an S7. Can you let us know if you are pairing your XIM APEX using Bluetooth device settings?

I actually connect by launching the XIM app. Am I supposed to connect via Bluetooth via BT device setting?

No, you are correct, I just wanted to make sure since I've seen Samsung devices automatically popping up the Bluetooth device list which makes people think they should use it.

Have you tried rebooting your phone?

Sorry for the delayed response. I have rebooted my phone but didn't keep an eye on whether it improved. I'll try testing now.

Just adding som concerns to this thread. Owning a Galaxy S8 and have recently experienced connectivity issues with the Apex app. Never had issues before. Might have something to do with recent updates to the phone. Certainly seems that way anyway. I'm on 5.00.20180328 version. Should I upgrade to newest? Cause things are working well now, don't want to mess anything up 😅

Of things are working well I wouldnt change anything. When you say you have connectivity issues with your S8, what sort of things are happening?

It's like the phone "forgets" my initial pairing so I have to repair Apex all most every time. It has worked flawless since I installed this release, and only now experiencenced connectivity issues. Like in the last month or so. That leads me to suspect some update of my phone to mess things up. No biggie but a little annoying.

Ok, yes, we having updating pairing for Android since release so this must be a change with the phone. But, I haven't heard of widespread problems with the S8 and haven't seen issues with the S8 we have. Has anything else changed with your phone recently, or, is it just the update? How long ago did you apply the update?

I have problems pairing my Motorola G5S as well, to my apex and my buddy's apex as well.
My older Motorola Moto g4 works fine, any suggestions?

Connect failure (XIM Apex not found) is what I get, tried like 10 times

Sorry, I missed this one. That's strange, it's not really a connectivity issue, but rather your Bluetooth radio is reporting as off to us.

Can you please install "BLE Scanner" from Play on you phone and see if that can see your XIM APEX?
