USB hub 2.0 vs 3.0

If I get a USB hub 3.0 instead of 2.0 ,the apex will work properly or it will dysfunction?

It could work. If you experience stability issues then I recommend locating a 2.0 hub.

I've been using a USB 3.0 hub for almost a year now w/o any issues. Not saying all will work but they can work.

Most USB 3.0 hubs should work fine, but mice, joysticks, keyboards, controllers, headphones etc are USB 2.0 devices, so there's no benefit going USB 3.0 aside from convenience.

Where things get messy is mixing USB 3.0 and 2.0 devices on the same hub. That can cause issues with the USB bus on PC or Mac, but typically not until there are 10+ devices connected in my experience. Keeping USB 2.0 and 3.0 devices on separate buses can resolve those problems.

In this case, you're generally ok to use USB 3.0 hubs on a Xim, but be aware that some may not work.
