[ACTIVE] XIM Apex not working.

Hi, Jason here. I purchased a XIM Apex a few weeks back, at first I was very happy with my purchase. So were my Twitch viewers. But after a week the XIM Apex only responded to half of my inputs.

Welcome to the community. Is this occurring on both the mouse and keyboard or primarily the keyboard?

Could you please share your setup so we can learn more about the issue?

extras: third party hub, switch, extended cables, titan, cronus?

Welcome to the community. Is this occurring on both the mouse and keyboard or primarily the keyboard?

Could you please share your setup so we can learn more about the issue?

mouse:
keyboard:
extras: third party hub, switch, extended cables, titan, cronus?
Mouse: Razer Lancehead
Keyboard: Razer Blackwidow X Chroma

And yes, mostly the keyboard but also the mouse at some times. And I know both products work perfectly fine because on my laptop they don't screw up.

These are both high power devices and are not known to have other faults. What's likely occurring is that they aren't receiving enough power from the console. You can resolve this by:

1) Connecting the controller direct with the console to charge for 1-2 hours
2) Charge other battery powered peripherals direct with the console as well
3) Disable LEDs on your peripherals
4) Add additional power to your setup. APEX supports power adapters using this spec and these can be found on Amazon or Ebay: 5V 3A power adapter  ([3.5mm x 1.35mm], center-positive)
5) Use low power peripherals

I did 1 and 3 but it still only does half the inputs, and I don't look to be spending anymore money.

Yes they are from the keyboard, but the keyboard and mouse both work perfectly fine on my Laptop.

Thanks for confirming. That is to be expected, Razer has better rollover protection using drivers and software. I recommend testing other keyboards with XIM.

XIM Apex Not Working.

After not receiving my replacement product from 2 and a half MONTHS ago, I would like to bring it back up. I have been on this forum before, tried ALL troubleshooting methods and the mouse and keyboard only have a 50% chance of responding on the adapter. I have gone to the point of using a mouse and keyboard that doesn't have a driver and it still doesn't work, and I know they work from when I'm on my computer. So I'm bringing this back up, can I please get a replacement product. As I said I have been here before, complaining about the same thing. I can provide POP if necessary.

If you're concerned about your XIM we can take a look at a tracelog to ensure it's running properly. Have the log screen open and the next time you notice the issue copy and paste the log into a message here. The link below contains instructions on how to capture the log. Be sure to have the log window open while gaming. After the issue occurs please share the last 25-50 lines of the log in your message here. Note the instructions are the same for both XIM4 and XIM Apex.
