how do I even get the script into the document thats in the xim link folder

go into your pcs documents folder, the xim link, then scripts
place your scripts there and they will be selectable within the xim link software

Hello W11cE

Thank you for your fantastic work.

I get "5 Packed delayed" message. Do you know what the issue could be?
It is ok if you see that after switching to active state or while the passthrough is not active. If you see it constantly while playing there could be an issue. Right now that indicator is a little illogical.
It is literally the first text I added to the main window and I will rework that at the same time with the connection sync.

As far as can see, it works great.

Thank you so much.

I came across with another issue. I am trying to create a script but Xim Link will crash.

Is there anything I can do?

if it doesnt crash without the script then check what is wrong in the script itself
if xim link crashes even with the script then its something else, eg the belkin cable needs to be repowered

Thank you.

The script is copied from one of the forum users and it works fine.

As for the cable, I will swap it to a different port and see if it works.

To W11CE and others:

Thank you so much for the work you put into Xim Link. It is an absolutely necessary piece of software for Xim in my opinion, and it wouldn't be here without your contributions.

It is working great, and I look forward to updates and improvements in the future

Ok there is definitely a problem. Going into the settings, directories, Ahk location and click on settings causes the Xim Link to stop working.

You are welcome. Glad you like it :)

Can you go to the directory settings with this build:
https://github.com/W11cE/XIM-Link/blob/master/Unstable%20Versions/XIM%20Link%20Setup%20UNSTABLE.msi

Also have you installed AHK to the default location or somewhere else?

Now, I need to figure out how to run a script.

I have a constant  "WARNING: 5000 packets delayed" being displayed. Not sure what the cause of this would be....

Just powercycle the cable (unplug both ends at the same time) and restart XIM Link. Sometimes connection may get messed up if you restart xim or console while its running.
