These beta updates are always lacking in info. We really need a set of release notes like the major Gold releases have...!

Just more general hardware compatibility (i.e. improvements to our "HID" implementation). Just please run it and let us know if any of your hardware doesn't work.

Concerning the trigger activation point change, it's something we looked in to but decided not to try it this release given how big of a change it would be within critical code paths. Sorry piiwii. :(

do you think instead of using the nav to ads with the trigger , using the trigger on the original ps4 controller would take away that dead zone fix we been asking for ???

They have different deadzones but the fundamental code is unchanged so it's unlikely to be made worse / better than it currently is.

Thanks. This new firmware now "correctly" displays an icon for the type of device it is. Your keyboard may actually be reporting itself as a mouse too which is why this is happening.

Do you have your keyboard plugged into port 1?

Hi,

Does this new firmware 20161127 include the beta 20160624-STEADAIM1 changes as well?

Thanks,
-Axel

Can someone tell me if the ballistic curve coding is the same as the steady aim beta firmware? I need to upgrade but wasn't sure if my curves would be compatible. Thanks in advance.

The code will be the same but I believe curve scaling was changed from 125% to 100%. The curves might feel different if you're sensitive to it.
