For console gamers reading this who are fretting over keyboard movement, my advice is to just practice, practice, practice with the keyboard and it'll eventually feel just fine, and that goes for the OP too.  ;)

For some that's good advice. If your goal is to be super competitive, sit at a desk, suck down Rockstars and stare at a 24in screen 3ft away.

Nah.. Nvr mind, I'll still pwn you from my couch.  :-*

In all seriousness, it's about options and appeal. If I absolutely had to learn movement with a KB I might. But I would never deliberately give up analog movement or the ability to comfortably chill out as long as it's possible. I will fight to the end, as should be evident via this thread. ;)

My advice would be this. Why punish yourself trying to learn an inferior method of movement? The only reason I can think of is lack of a decent option for analog movement. If you're a PC gamer KB makes sense. If you're not then the only way it makes sense is if the Nav doesn't meet your needs. Which I admit, it's not ideal IMO either. However, it's still better for me personally.

I can say that if I only had the option to use a KB with XIM from the get go. I personally would've never of even bought the product and that's no joke! Now, having used the product it would be difficult to give it up. So who knows what extreme's I would go to, maybe my own kick starter as others have suggested.

I'd say this thread going from 0 to 5 pages in such a short time frame is a pretty clear indication that there's demand? I honestly can't get used to keyboards again. After years playing CS religiously 15 years ago you would think I'd still have the muscle memory for it but unfortunately not.

Also the one bad thing about keyboards is you can't cross your legs. Sometimes I do that when I play games lol

Yes I agree the wand would be so much better for comfort imo even though I am fairly used to KB/M because I used to play CSGO a LOT would rather be able to sit back and play.

Noob question here...

why don't you just use the controller?

or am I doing it wrong?

I've been using my ps4 controller with my mouse ever since I bought the xim4.

I hold the controller and just use the left stick, L1 , L2 , L3 and touchpad , everything else is on mouse.

Why don't you use a Sony NAV instead. Using the controller IMO is very uncomfortable and on XBox the controller wire is so poor it often disconnects if you don't just leave it alone, which kills everything!

hey no need to get mad bro. Just a question... if there was a reason for ME not to use the ps4 controller?
how is it not confrm for you? Everybody knows how to hold the regular controller lol..

Also what I mean is there a tech reason not to use it... like does it play worse because I'm using the xim or something?

Not sure why you felt I was mad..  I was just asking a question too. Guess I forgot to put a ? in there. Anyways, there's no Technical reason not to use the controller other then it seems awkward to hold with just one hand.

ok thank you for your response :)

I'm a big guy so it's ok for me.

by the way I love your Destiny ST and decided to play with 4k dpi ever since I followed your thread about it.

Would you mind trying Fornite BR , It's a free game on PSN don't even need PS plus and making a config for it :)

throwing my support to the idea, recently switched to the nav after reading RML's destiny guide... feels good, but with couple more buttons and maybe a bigger wand I can see it working.

yes yes and more yes! im picturing a much nicer version of PS Nav, but not like you are holding a stiff hotdog bun... with more buttons and customization that is comfortable to hold in ur hand for more than ten min ><
