This RML curve makes me not want to stop playing BO3.

I dropped from 1000hz to 500hz last night to go along with the 4000 dpi. I switch between the two from one game to the next. Really did notice how much smoother 500hz was.  I mean I was doing great with 1000hz but switching between the two I felt at 1000hz it was jittery.

I'm currently using my Puretrak Talent pad which is cloth. Going to switch back to my G440 Hard pad today and see which gives me the best results.

I'm finally getting use to using what works best settings wise for a game. Before I was like Ok G502, 12k dpi, 1000hz, hard pad that's the best setup etc.  Now I'm learning that's not the case at all.  You really gotta test things out and try to find out what works best for you.

It's also great how sharing this community is. People willing to take their time to share and explain their unique setups. Trying to share their years of XIM knowledge.  I've been here since BO2 days with my XIM Edge and I'm still learning everything the XIM can do.

Where do I paste the full setup code?

Load up a new BO3 config.  Ok now next to where you can choose the "Color" of your config you see a "....." press that.

Then you will see the "Copy" and "Paste" boxes. You hit the "paste" one which is the Box with the down arrow.

Well I dunno somethings wrong then.I actually tried that and it gave me a red exclamation point.

Everytime I figure I got this thing setup right I find out I don't lol

Today for instance, afer reading this post,it says to make sure you are running build 20151120,so I figure I must be good cause according to the download page im running the latest firm and manager. Not so :) I check the numbers and they don't match what I am suppose to be using.Ohh hey look up there! Theres a secret little compartment that says release candidates, right under where it says Child Boards lmao

Anyhoo it seems to be working well for me by just using the curves and the mouse settings.Havent tried it online yet though as the servers seem down but I think it'll be good for me.

Couple other questions I have though.Where it says "Killstreak config for turrets, etc. (don't use with DART)." What does DART mean? Also should I have steady aim enabled on HIP or only on ADS?Oh  and what does STv2 mean?I only seen one ST for BO3.

Really hoping to get a good setup for both this game and star wars before the 1st when I go on my beer binge. My patience level drops to a 2 for this kinda stuff when im drinking lol

Thanks for any help you all can give me

I only use the Curves and Y/X info he created. You will have to wait for RML to reply to your questions about the other stuff like killstreak setups.

@SQUINT,

DART is one of the Killstreaks, you can use my KS settings with it but it's a little too sensitive. KS (Killstreaks) settings work best for things like Mothership, Cerebus and Talon.

STv2 is referring to the latest Firmware/Manager 20151120.

I use Steady Aim for both Hip and ADS.

You should create TWO BO3 configs. Just use the ST for first one and set up your sens to your liking. For the second one add my setup to it and adj. your sens to match your first config. Then you can alternate the two and compare. Who knows maybe just the Vanilla ST will work best for you. At least this way you can determine one way or the other.

Hi there,

I was struggling with the BO3 setup, but thanks to this config saw an immediate difference in feel.

Just wanted to say thanks! Nice work and thanks for sharing.

How can we make the opposite?? I'm lazy i would like a real sticky aim so it almost feels like aimbot, Anyone have a curve for this? :)

Just use the ST with low sensitivity, that's what it feels like to me. Problem is, it pulls your aim around but not directly onto the target all the time. Most of the time you'll find your shots trailing the target. Then you'll have to try to catch up and probably overcompensate. That's what I was referring to by "invisible bubble."

If you use high ADS sensitivity then use a small amount of negative acceleration at the beginning the curve. I would move over to say Ten on the ballistic scale (too notches to the right) and lower that down to 5-7 and just try that.

Using a Logitech G502, polling at 500. Quick note that using the ballistics curves suggested here, you do need to enable angle snapping to fully defeat that bubble caused by the auto aim in game. Without angle snapping you still feel that bubble push you away, as you try to move your fire to target. Once you have angle snapping enabled on your mouse, that virtually gets rid of the last bit of that bubble, and you can quickly draw your fire directly to target.
Thanks for posting the curves. It saved me a lot of time in getting to my preferred ballistics curve, by tweaking the curves posted here already.

Interesting feedback, I wouldn't know this as I always have AS enabled. Another way to minimize the bubble is too up your sens a little. I've actually gone from 22 & 9 to 33 & 13 since this post. I also tweaked the ADS curve just slightly to be a tad more aggressive.

RML this new ADS curve you have is it updated on here? If not can you just share that ADS curve I would like to give it a try.

As for Angle Snapping I'm somebody who doesn't use it. However I'm going to be testing it today.

My current setup with your original Hip/Ads curves is

G502 @ 4000 Dpi (Currently testing between 500hz and 1000hz)
On a G440 Hard Pad
Hip 34.50
Ads 8.00
*With the hard pad I really bring my Ads Sensitivity down. I go by "Feels" more than numbers.

On a Puretrak Talent Cloth pad
Hip 38.50
Ads 13.50

*Turning on Angle Snapping for testing"
