Is it continuously flashing?

Yes, that's fine. Thanks for reporting it. Our new 20151110 firmware is designed to flash like that whenever it detects something is different about how communication is occurring. Right now this notification is too "aggressive" but we wanted it to be so we can fine true issues (even though most will be expected -- like this one).

Mine also flashes purple after I put PS4 in Rest Mode. Won't stop unless I unplug the Xim.

Same here. I have to unplug it in rest mode or it will flash purple forever.

I'm using a USB switch between XIM and my keyboard with the mouse transmitter in USB pass through port.  Not sure if this is the reason.

Update:
I removed the Cronusmax and plugged the XIM directly into the PS4 and that stopped the flashing.

For those having rest-mode problems -- is your XIM4 not turning off when you enter Rest Mode? Also, are your peripherals not turning off either?

Concerning CronusMax and purple flashing -- this is a serious problem. It means CronusMax isn't behaving like a real X1 or PS4 host. As a result, timing is off and you are getting sub-optimal performance out of your XIM4.

I have a feeling that could be due to the "Speed-up" settings - 1ms polling, Inframe-In/Out in the CM & T1 software.

Should try having those settings unticked to see if it corrects the issue.
I just wanted to say that you are a phenomenal gamer. You make it look so easy and your gameplay has this commanding "tone" to it (i.e. not frantic -- more of a dominating calm :) ).

Yes the xim is turning off when the ps4 goes into rest mode, but a few seconds later it turns back on. It cycles a few colors, then starts flashing purple. This never happened before.

Started doing it for me too. It was fine the first couple days but today every time I go into rest more it goes off then comes on and starts flashing purple after it goes through normal cycle of colors.

Rest mode is known. It'll be fixed.

Confirm the same behavior during rest mode.  Turns off then after a minute or so continuous purple flash.

I tried disabling all Speed Up settings and XIM still flashes purple; if I enable Inframe-In and Out, it will flash purple constantly.
