While converting my old bc2 xim2 profile when I typed in 0.1 or 0.anything I get 0..1? Is it supposed to be inserting an extra period?

edit: I'd also like the ability to change the name of a profile in the gui after its been saved.

I'm liking where this collaberation is going.....
Hmmm, what if I were to provide an API that would let you manage configs that you could plug in to? How far are you willing to go on this project?

I'm liking where this collaberation is going.....

no kidding...

being able to push and pull configs back and forth would be freakin' epic.

Oh, wow, sP4rK.

Nice and simple interface!

Please collaborate with OBsIV!  Would be nice to have a better interface with the Smart Translator flashing as well.  ;)

yeah this is really sexy

the idea to be able to customize everything through the pc is just awsome
dont get me wrong, interacting with the controller on the xim3 is fine, but the lcd is small and stuff
on the pc its a lot clearer, brighter and easier to handle

i hope this doesnt interfere with obsivs patent in any way or makes it possible for third party publishers like xfps to brick the code behind the translators
(yeah i know, sounds a bit off)

It's going to make sharing and testing different configs really easy...assuming your profile manager can export and import to a config file : )

See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

What am I doing wrong?

If you could provide an API for connecting / transfering with XIM it would be great. I think it would be a really nice feature to transfer the profiles via PC to XIM.

Is something wrong with Linq? I prefered it, beacuse it let me wrote less sourcecode than a normal XMLReader.

@thebeelzebub: Where do you get this error?

@Z0mbi3: You're right, this is a bug ... I'll fix it ... edit: fixed in Version 1.0.2

If you get further along with this, I would think the ability to keep the button mapping separate from sensitivity and other settings would be good since the settings could change as the product evolves, but the buttons you use for say COD or Halo would remain the same.

For instance the new Smart Hardcore that OBsIV mentioned he's working on would add new settings. So some way to pull your button map from the old settings to the new settings and then key in any of the new settings you're missing would be great. Would make transitioning to new firmwares hopefully much easier.
