XIM3 Profile Manager v1.13
« on: 04:52 AM - 03/02/11 »
With this tool you can manage all of the profiles you find in the forum or by yourself.
You can even convert the XIM3 sensitives from one dpi value to another or convert XIM2 to XIM3 profiles.
Furthermore there is an online database integrated, so you can up and download new profiles.

If anything is wrong with the calculations, you find any bugs or have feature request, just let me now.

btw: You have to have at least .net Framework 3.5 installed on your system in order to use this program.

I hope you enjoy it ...

For reporting requests and bugs please use our onlinesheet:
Feature request & bug sheet (thx to tuffrabit)

Changes:
1.13
- Integrated onlineupdate (manual or automatically on startup)
- Firmwares could now be choosen in an dropdownlist
- Smarttranslatornames are now given in an dropdownlist instead of manual input
- Both, firmwares and translatornames, could be updated online without having an new programversion (manual or automatically on startup)

1.12
- Removed the Jitter-Knob (This change will remove jitter from the local database too, so all information of jitter will be lost with this version)
- Higher sensitivities for primary / secondary were now possible (500)
- Higher smoothness is now possible (100)
- Cleanup of the online database: All profiles with no or wrong translatornames were removed, if an translatorname was neccessary for the uploaded profile. This applies to a bunch of profiles with smart or smart advanced. Standard profiles weren't touch atm. Furthermore no profiles will be accepted, if translator was neccessary but don't given or absolutely wrong ...

Note: This version has an database-update intgrated, so please make sure that you've an backup of the XIM3Profiles.db if something wen't wrong. This shouldn't happen due to all the tests but is never excluded.

I have a little idea, tell if you like it or can doit, or if is useful...

Can you add a button for the "button layout" for each profile? More than one layout would be awesome (with the pad image like the xim2).

I explain myself: I have a config for the "G13 + mouse" settings, then a "keyboard + mouse" then a "navigation controller + mouse". So there are 3 different configs, I sometime forget the layout, especially with games that I don't play every day. I would help to have a button layout stored so that I can check easily.

I know maybe is a bit stupid request, I can do it with excel sheets or a simply doc file.

Apart from that, the dpi translation is very useful, and the xim2/3 conversion too. Good work indeed!!!

Very awesome Spark! Ss this a database for existing XIM2 configs atthe same time?

I will think about ... not a bad idea indeed

@roads: no, XIM2 Profiles can only convert into XIM3 profiles. But you can use the fields from the XIM3 profiles even for XIM2 profiles ... And then save it like "XIM2 - gamename" or equal

Updated to Version 1.0.1 ... If you already used Version 1.0.0 for your games and don't want to insert them again, make sure you read the Important notice, I added in the first post.

Hmmm, what if I were to provide an API that would let you manage configs that you could plug in to? How far are you willing to go on this project?
Get the most out of your XIM APEX, read the XIM APEX Support FAQ.
