Thanks but that's not necessary and any information may not be usable on Xbox. I'll be retraining, the Y axis speed has changed but aside from this there are no other changes that I see from Hip and ADS.

General Discussion / Re: Mouse disconnected
« on: Today at 02:16 PM »
Is it just the mouse disconnecting? If so when only one device experiences an issue it usually indicates an issue with that device. Testing other mice would be the next step.

The wired controller isn't compatible with XIM. You will need to use a wireless original controller by the console maker.

Let's check on your wireless controller's ability to use a data cable. Please try this.

Disconnect APEX
Remove controller
Connect wireless controller using the same controller cable to the console

Does the controller light turn on automatically without pressing buttons?

I'm not familiar with the issue but it looks like the original poster solved it by connecting a short extension between the joystick and hub.

Welcome to the community and thank you for sharing all of that information. I've actually noticed that the cyan-green isn't always displaying at startup on the latest firmware. That's ok as long as you see a cyan-green flash when pressing the button. It's odd that you're able to see the XIM in the bluetooth list, it's an LE device and shouldn't be visible in that list.

Is your APEX using the latest firmware? This would ensure the latest bluetooth support, this is a manual update requiring a PC or Mac. You can find the latest firmware below. Please read the instructions on the download page.

I would try starting fresh next. Disconnect APEX and restart your phone. Once your phone is up connect APEX to the console with nothing attached to APEX. After startup open Manager then press the button on APEX.

If this doesn't help you may want to try using an LE scanner next. Please try using this app.

Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.macdom.ble.blescanner&hl=en
iOS: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/ble-scanner-4-0/id1221763603

Let us know if APEX shows in the scanner and it's signal strength. Also check if you're able to connect to APEX using the scanner.

Oh, scopes. I'm not able to train ADS. Are 4x easy to come by?

Edit: The deadzone in scopes is higher than Hip and ADS. On the ADS page try setting the first curve position to 1.20. This should improve micro aim with scopes but it will have a negative effect (accelerated jitter/jump feeling) for weapons without scopes. You could either use two configs, one intended for iron sights and one for scoped weapons or use one config and deal with the accelerated feeling on non scoped weapons.

If you would like to experiment with other values for the first curve position I recommend setting your mouse to 3-6k DPI and ADS sensitivity to 1.0. With the first position at 0.0 (default) you will find that very little mouse movement doesn't result in on screen movement while looking through a scope. Raise the first curve position between 1 and 2 in increments of .1 or less. Once you have movement on screen with very little mouse movement you can then return your mouse to its previous DPI and revert to your previous sensitivity.

There is no document but you can go over the start page. Sync is explained on the download page.

Game Framerate Synchronization: A new Config setting under Aim (expand '...' to view) called Synchronize was added. The purpose of this setting is to better align your XIM APEX's operation to the game's input processing loop to improve aiming fidelity. It works at all XIM APEX Response Rates and is available within Expert configuration mode. There are 4 settings you can choose from:

Default   This is the default and is designed to generally work well on all games and matches the behavior of all XIMs prior to XIM APEX.
Common   If your game runs at 60fps, try this setting. If switching from Default, divide your sensitivity by 2.
Slow   If your game runs at 30fps, try this setting. If switching from Default, divide your sensitivity by 4.
Off   Disables synchronization. Use this setting if you prefer to behavior of the retail XIM APEX firmware.

If you would like to flip between sync values to test each one you must convert the sensitivity between them. Sensitivity conversion between Synchronize settings:

Default > Off: x8 | Common: 2 | Slow: 4

Common > Off: x16 | Default: x2 | Slow: 2

Slow > Off: x32 | Default: x4 | Common: x2

Off > Default: 8 | Common: 16 | Slow: 32

Every single game is playable on XIM, Battlefield, Call of Duty, Fortnite, Overwatch, every single one, but not PUBG.

PUBG has not been touched for several months, with several updates that game has had it is obligatory for You to provide some retrain. Game has changed significantly, now the version is 0.8 something, we have ST from 0.4/0.5 version of the game.

People used to do the work by themselves when they could. But right now WE REALLY NEED YOUR HELP, there is no solution to delete the jittery movement. Trust us, we are very strong community, we talk with each other on discord, try to fix that. There is no possible way of doing that, unless the ST is retrained.

I will not play the game as well until that is done.

Game support is updated when the look mechanic is updated. There is no need to update game support unless there have been changes to the look mechanic.

I have the game up now and I expected it to feel terrible given the reports about the PTS changes going live but I'm not feeling anything out of the ordinary. Could someone who experiences jittery movement share under what conditions they feel this?

Sync is setting in the mouse section of the config that appears when APEX's response rate has been changed. If you do not have this then there is no need to worry about it affecting your sensitivity.

Support / Re: Xim Apex on pc (Destiny 2)
« on: Today at 10:15 AM »
Welcome to the community. PC is not a supported gaming platform but some users have been able to use it with PC games by connecting a Microsoft wireless Xbox One controller or a Microsoft wired Xbox 360 controller to XIM. Note that if you're going to use a 360 controller it must be wired, wireless+play and charge kits do not send data over the cable.

Is it fixed now?

Are you using a slim controller? If so there is a known 8 minute disconnect issue when using a slim controller and an outdated firmware. I recommend updating to this version using a PC or mac.

You could try starting XIM with only the controller attached. After startup attach only the mouse and test. If this and using another port does not help then unfortunately the mouse may not be compatible. I would recommend using another mouse next in this case.

If replacing the cable doesn't help let's try a hard reset, it can sometimes fix this issue. Press and hold the power button on the front of the console for 15 seconds. Once off unplug the power cable to the console for 60 seconds. Reconnect the power cable and power on the console. Attach all peripherals to XIM then connect XIM to the console.

Note that removing the power cable while off has been reported as necessary by some users.

Welcome to the community. It sounds like you're reaching the max turn speed, you should see fast red flashing lights from XIM when moving the mouse. First verify that the in-game sensitivity is maxed. Next, if you're using sync I recommend testing default or common. If you're not using sync then there is nothing else to adjust. Console games have a maximum speed that they allow you to turn. This max turn speed will vary between games and is a limit set by the game developer. XIM flashes red lights when you've reached the turn speed limit. If you continue moving faster than what the game allows then that movement is ignored and you may see less movement as a result. By either lowering your sensitivity or moving your mouse slower to stay under or ride the turn speed limit should result in more onscreen movement.
