Are you sure you had the mouse set to onboard memory?

Mist suggested doing a power cycle to the xbox in another post. Almost entirely fixed the floaty aim assist problem for me. It only happens very rarely now.

What’s a power cycle?
It is where you hold the xbox button on the console until it shuts off. Then unplug the power cable cable and wait atleast 10 seconds. Then plug it back in and start it. Here is a link to the xbox support page for doing a power cycle. https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-one/console/power-cycle-console

I think you can use an auxiliary config for this. Go to your destiny config then go right to auxiliary 1. Enable it and set the activation key to shift. Then set your sensitivity to 4x of what it normaly is.

On xim apex i use 12k dpi, 1.00 xim sens, common sync, 1000hz, aim assist window size 70, and 100 relative scoped sens. My mouse is a g502. These settings have worked really well for me with widow. My peak this season is 3645 mainly playing widow.

Thanks, if this is just the mouse shutting off it could be a short in the mouse cable. This would make sense if it happens when the mouse and cable is moved quickly. Testing another mouse would be the next step.

If the entire setup is not working it's likely power related as you're using a high power setup. Try charging the controller directly with the console, disable LEDs on your peripherals, or adding a power adapter to APEX may help. APEX supports power adapters using the spec below and can be found on amazon or ebay.

I tried a different mouse and it worked fine. I think i just need to get a new mouse.

Welcome to the community. This could be caused by a few different things. Could you please share the rest of your setup so we can learn more about the issue?

mouse: corsair scimitar rgb
keyboard:
extras: third party hub, switch, extended cables, titan, cronus?
My keyboard is a logitech g910 and i have an elite controller.
